Welcome to religious education for children and youth at Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist!
Our program is based on the idea that children and youth learn and grow in an environment that acknowledges age-appropriate learning, recognizes individual styles and needs, and celebrates spirituality. We strive to provide an environment that is safe, nurturing, and fun.
Unitarian Universalists believe there is no single answer to religious questions. We encourage our children and youth to discover what gives meaning to their lives and to draw their inspiration from our own UU traditions as well as from the religious traditions of others. We believe children and youth are amazing and wonderful people.
In a nurturing environment, we will encourage our youth to develop open and questioning minds as they begin their individual spiritual journeys. By embracing Unitarian Universalist principles,and by drawing upon the wisdom of world traditions, we will guide them toward articulating their UU beliefs and developing a deep respect for our world community.
