FAITH FORMATION JULY ACTIVITIES
- Sat. July 12, 10:00 AM — CEDAR RAPIDS PRIDE PARADE and BOOTH: March with Peoples Church UU at the Cedar Rapids Pride Parade! Come show your love and support for out LGBTQIA+ community and have a good time with your friends. Gather at 10:00 AM to march in the parade, or sign up for a time to staff PCUU’s booth between 11:00AM and 5:30PM. Please contact Emily (ehoselton33@gmail.com) regarding the parade and Marcia (marcia.swith@gmail.com) regarding the booth.
- Sunday July 27, 9:00-10:30 AM — Nature Hangout at Wikiup Hill Learning Center: Spend Sunday morning before worship hanging out and playing in nature with friends! No need to register or sign-up. We will provide snacks!
YOUTH CO-OP JULY ACTIVITES
- Sunday, July 13 (2-4PM) — Photo Scavenger Hunt: Meet up with your Youth Co-op friends at Newbo City Market for a photo scavenger hunt. Like last year’s, but with a twist!
- Wednesday, July 16 (5:30PM) — Bites and Brainstorming: Meet up at the Culvers on Hiawatha and brainstorm ideas and plans for Youth Co-op activities for the upcoming year. Do you want to try something new or try something again? Come on out and let us know!
- Friday, July 27 (evening exact time TBD) — Outdoor Movie Night: Let’s watch a movie! Join us for outdoor movie night at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (1340 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids). In case of rain, we will move indoors for a pillow fort movie night.
